Nainesh is featured as one of the leading Long Term Disability Lawyers in the Canadian Lexpert Directory. He was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1994 and to the Alberta Bar in 2022. He holds a wealth of experience having appeared in trials with and without a jury at the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice. He has represented clients and conducted appeals at the Federal Court level, Trial division. Nainesh has appeared before numerous Tribunals.
Nainesh’s practice includes a heavy emphasis on long-term disability cases where clients are suffering from depression, anxiety, and post traumatic stress disorder.
Nainesh appears regularly on television and radio news and talk shows to discuss injury and disability law and current legal issues.
Nainesh is active in the community and supports many worthy charities and causes. From 2015-2019 he brought a thousand troops, veterans, and cadets to a pro-fessional hockey game in a Remembrance Day event known as Kotak Law Military Appreciation Day. This was repeated in July of 2024 when he presented a Salute to Services Game with the Brampton Honey Badgers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League.
Nainesh is a proud contributor and supporter of Wounded Warriors Canada, The Canadian Mental Health Association, Boots on the Ground and Every Mind Mental Health Services (formerly Peel Children’s Centre).
Nainesh is a member of the Sheridan College Paralegal Advisory Committee.
Nainesh served as the Chair of the Long-Term Disability Section of the Ontario Trial Lawyers’ Association from 2021 to 2024. He is the Secretary/Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Trial Lawyers’ Association. He chaired the working group to form OTLA’s Diversity and Inclusion Caucus and was instrumental in its formation.
He has organized and chaired seminars, webinars, roundtables, and luncheons to educate and assist lawyers with topics such as practicing disability law and building a more diverse and inclusive practice.
Nainesh is the President of the Board of Directors of Every Mind Mental Health Services (formerly Peel Children’s Centre).
