Avi grew up in South Florida and received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Florida International University in 2017. He subsequently received his law degree in 2021 from Osgoode Hall Law School. Avi was called to the Bar in 2022. During law school, Avi worked with the Community and Legal Aid Services Programme to provide legal services to low-income clients within the York Region area.
Prior to joining Kotak Law, Avi worked as an Associate and completed his articles with a Toronto boutique civil litigation firm, where he practiced in virtually every area of civil litigation, including environmental, construction, commercial, contract, medical malpractice, bankruptcy, real estate, landlord-tenant, intellectual property, personal injury, and motor vehicle accidents. Avi honed his advocacy skills in this role and appeared before judges and associate judges in most municipalities of the Greater Toronto Area.
Avi understands the financial difficulty faced by our clients in their disability and personal injury matters, and strives to ensure timely and effective legal advice.
